ASB update

Dear Resident

Last week was a busy one for us, as we marked national Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week.

ASB is an issue we focus on all year round as we know just how much it can affect local communities. We conduct regular patrols in hotspot areas across Dacorum and work alongside our partner agencies, including the council and housing associations, to tackle any issues.

We highlighted some of this work on our social media channels during last week’s campaign. Our usual patrols were carried out and engagement events were held, to allow members of the public to discuss any ASB issues with police and local partners and get advice on what to do next.

We gathered a lot of useful information and I’d like to thank residents for talking to us.

I’d also like to thank all those who took the time to complete our ASB survey. At the time of sending, we’ve had 367 responses, which is fantastic. Your views really do make a difference and help us to ensure we’re targeting our patrols and efforts in the right areas.

We have already started to review the responses and have re-focussed our targeted patrols as necessary.

If you haven’t yet completed the survey, you can still do so by clicking the link below (survey link).

For further advice and information around ASB and where to report it, please visit our website - https://www.herts.police.uk/advice/advice-and-information/asb/asb/antisocial-behaviour/

Thank you,

Nick
